In Memory of Terry Rand

A great friend of Hohner and "one of the most accomplished and decorated basketball players in Green Bay history" died Friday. Terry Rand, a former NBA hall of fame basketball great and Olympian from Marquette, constantly promoted the harmonica and it's health benefits. In doing so he also garnered a large amount of press, including the front page of the Wall Street Journal.

Terry was a member of SPAH, the Society for the Preservation and Advancement of Harmonicas, and was charged with researching the health benefits of playing the harmonica. Terry is recognized for his many health programs, and was the co-chairman for the International Health Committee for Using Harmonicas as medically prescribed therapy for lung disorders.

A huge friend of Hohner.  He promoted the harmonica and it's health benefits wherever he went.  Terry was an active SPAH member and a good friend.  I will miss him.
