Medal of Honor recipient and Hohner Harmonica Player SFC Sammy L. Davis recently attended a Gary Sinise Foundation fundraiser to "build a home for one of our severely wounded soldiers." Here is a note that Sammy sent Hohner President Clay Edwards about what occurred:

"I spoke to the gathering, and told them the story of how I learned to play the Harmonica and then played Shenandoah for them , then Tom Dreesen auctioned off the harp , one of the special ones you made for me, it went for $60,000.. So thank you so very Much for helping us help our wounded warriors."
