Hohner Donates Harmonicas to the Make Music Foundation’s June 21st Event in 6 US Cities


GLEN ALLEN, VA – Hohner, Inc. is proud to support the Make Music Foundation’s efforts to bring music to the masses June 21st in six major US Cities. The Make Music Foundation is running its events in conjunction with the Fête de la Musique which was designed in Paris in 1981 as mass of amateur outdoor street performances to become the largest concert ever organized in the world. Today it is celebrated in more than 300 cities and 60 countries around the world.

Hohner has donated harmonicas to each of the US cities organizers who are organizing group harmonica lessons to aspiring musicians.



“It is truly amazing how this event has grown since its beginnings” commented Drew Lewis, Harmonica Product Manager. “This mass celebration brings communities closer together through music. It’s truly an amazing undertaking and Hohner is pleased to be a part of it.”    These events will be held in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Madison and Portland ME on June 21st 2013.
