HOHNER at World Harmonica Festival 2013

As the main sponsor, HOHNER will have a wide ranging presence at the WHF 2013, the largest international harmonica festival:

- Factory tours

On Saturday 2nd November, factory tours will be available from 9:30am to 4pm in various different languages. This offers festival visitors the opportunity to experience the manufacture of HOHNER quality harmonicas at first hand.

- HOHNER Service Center

During the festival, the HOHNER Service Training Center will set up shop in the Dr. Ernst Hohner Konzerthaus. At different work stations, the Service Team will demonstrate how interested players can maintain and repair their own instruments, as well as learning to adjust them optimally to suit their individual playing styles.

All HOHNER harmonica models, as well as numerous merchandizing articles such as posters, t-shirts, CDs or DVDs will be available from the HOHNER Shop in the Dr. Ernst Hohner Konzerthaus. Specialist advice will be available there from our partner, Klavierhaus Hermann, as well as from HOHNER staff.

- HOHNER Endorsees

Of course the WHF features quite a number of HOHNER endorsees including artists such as Rachelle Plas, Rick Estrin, Yasuo Watani, Los Mighty Calacas or Steve Baker, to name but a few. Information about the concert program and tickets are available here:

-  German Harmonica and Accordion Museum

The German Harmonica and Accordion Museum has much to offer WHF visitors who are interested in the history of our instrument. As well as guided tours of the permanent exhibition, the museum will be placing its annexe in the historic Building V on the former HOHNER factory site at the disposal of festival visitors as a players' lounge and meeting place. Attractions there include a special exhibition on the history of the World Harmonica Festival, a flea market for harmonicas and accessories and a short special concert by legendary harmonica customizer Joe Filisko. On Saturday 2nd November the museum will also offer guided tours of the town in different languages under the title „On the Trail of Matthias Hohner“.

Further information is available on the World Harmonica Festival website.
