The modern compromise tuning is ideal for single note playing in different positions in a wide range of contemporary styles, while still retaining a full chord sound, making the Crossover an optimal addition to the great Marine Band range and the first choice for today's professionals.

Testimonials Marine Band Crossover

The new Marine Band Crossover is a terrific harp in every aspect: beautiful sealed bamboo comb, strong attractive cover plates and, most importantly - well tuned, with good volume and projection, and smooth responsive playability bottom to top. It also comes in a handy and unique zippered case. Another winner from Hohner!
Jerry Portnoy

The Marine Band Crossover is the most versatile harmonica I've ever played!, with it I can get the deep tone for the Blues and the speed to play Norteñas,Cumbia,Latin and Spanish music ........ When I need to play chromatic, I use the CX12 Gold, I love the sound, and besides that........, it looks really "guapachosa"!!!
Marco Coll

I have played HOHNER harmonicas since the beginning and they have served me well through a lot of musical journeys. I've used the CX-12 Jazz on several artists's CD's and I don't think you can beat the Marine Band Crossover for a blues harp, I love them both!
Tollak Ollestad

I prefer HOHNER harmonicas because they have a very special sound like the crossover and the special 20. They sound more serious.
Natascha Seara

I got my first Crossover last year and I'm impressed with the compression and great tone these harps have. I now use several of them when I'm gigging, along with my Special 20's.
