Dylan Jakobsen

Based out of Seattle, WA, Dylan exploded on to the Country scene at just 22 years old. People often ask how Country music became his passion when growing up in such a Rock and Grunge based city. “Nothing’s ever felt more right. I'm just creating the kind of music I love and Country’s [become] a part of me.” Dylan uses feel good harmonica riffs and vivid storytelling mixed with a driving rock beat to captivate his audience within the music. “I want to paint a story people feel like they've become a part of. I want people to see that I’m not only a singer but I’m also a songwriter, bringing these stories to life.” By focusing on constantly improving himself as a musician, he's not only able to play guitar, but also the harmonica, drums, pedal steel, mandolin and banjo; skills he uses when writing each part of his albums. Dylan isn’t a one-man band though; he has a great group of guys backing him on stage. Together they’ve supported Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Lee Brice, Montgomery Gentry, Chris Young, Gary Allan, Thompson Square, Parmalee, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Ray and more, participated in countless festivals and fairs including spots on the highly coveted Watershed Music Festival, Sunfest Country Festival, Washington State Fair, and more. Dylan has also been featured nationally on Taste Of Country, The Boot, AXS, Huffington Post and American Songwriter, and regionally on New Day NW and Evening Magazine.

"Put aside your want for a mixed country song with a pop feel to it and embrace what country should be comprised of, soulful lyrics and an acoustic guitar. Dylan brings back the classic sound while infusing his take on the country genre and the outcome is an ear pleasing tune" (TWSJ 2014). Dylan spends the majority of each year on the road touring North America. Currently, he’s performed in over 35 states and countries and is anxious to get overseas soon!

Bio Continued

Don't judge Dylan based on this; come out to a show and see for yourself what people are talking about. "I’m in a place right now where I just want to sit down and write about everything that comes my way; things I experience or see other people go through and things I read about or see in newspapers and on the TV. I’ve never been more proud of the songs I’m creating and all I want to do now is show them to as many people as I can." Dylan will be back in the studio in Winter 2016 for a release in the Early Spring. "Dylan Jakobsen" the self-titled EP, available now!
